Planning a wedding isn’t just about booking a florist, choosing a DJ, tastings, and gift registries. It’s all about us telling your unique love story. We get to know our couples on a personal level and typically end up as friends. Of course we love planning and designing weddings but none of that matters without you. That’s why during our initial consultation, we take time to find out how you and your fiancé met, how you or they proposed, what you love about each other, and how we can sprinkle that throughout your wedding day. We don’t try to sell you on our packages; we show you how your love story can be told through the five senses to ensure the most amazing guest experience.

KC Weddings & Events got a 10/10 in my book. Back story, we had our wedding January 9, 2022 at the peak of omicron. So many things changed last minute. I’m talking guest count going down by 50 guests 2 weeks before the wedding. We lost a bridesmaid and a groomsmen the day before the wedding due to Covid. Had additional guest show up that had not RSVPed and so much more. Let me tell you, we could not have done it without these amazing wedding planners. We personally had Brian as our wedding planner. And he killed it. All our last minute changes were challenging but he absolutely took them head on. It was a huge piece of mind knowing he was there to help with it all. Our reception space turned out STUNNING, they took our vision to a whole new level. Every detail of the wedding day was taken care of. They absolutely exceeded all expectations and we were so happy that we hired them! Thank you guys for everything!

We hired Kara and Brian for partial planning. They were very helpful with their knowledge and expertise with weddings and what we were going to need as me and my husband didn't know anything! After explaining to them the theme I was wanting, they completely understood and were able to give me more ideas and recommendations on vendors who had the style I was looking for. They met with me many times in order to recap on booked vendors and to plan for what was left for the wedding. On the day of, I can honestly say everything went so smoothly. If it wasn't for them, I'm not sure if my day would of been as perfect as it was.

Kara & Brian coordinated a wedding at The Knickerbocker Estate in October 2014. As a manager of this elegant estate setting we've had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of wedding event planners. We were very pleased working with Kara & Brian. KC Wedding & Events was the MOST important investment we made toward our daughter’s wedding. Kara was not only available all the time but she was a God sent as we did not realize the minor/ major details that slipped our minds at the last minute. She thought of things that would never have crossed our minds. With that being said, we avoided costly mistakes.

The most important thing we needed was to have someone create and keep all people involved to a specific schedule.
Kara accomplished that perfectly without any problems or at least we don’t know about any! Having Kara made planning non stressful and actually enjoyable. I highly recommend KC Weddings & Events for any event. You will not be disappointed. We know we are eternally grateful for all of the help we received during the entire process. KC Weddings & Events was beyond amazing to work with! We only had a few weeks to plan an entire wedding on Marco Island while we live in Indiana. Their communication was fantastic. We were able to FaceTime, email, text and have phone calls with them through the entire planning processes. They have great recommendations for photographers, cake places and florists. We also loved the wedding decor they provided for the beach ceremony. The day of the wedding, they took care of setup, tear down and took charge of the music.

When planning a destination wedding, you have to put a lot of trust in your planners to make your vision come alive. Our wedding ended up being better than we could have ever dreamed of all thanks to KC Weddings & Events!

Kara was amazing! Best thing I did was hire her. I planned all of our wedding and Kara tied everything together perfectly the day of our wedding! She was very responsive to emails and texts in the months/days leading up to our wedding.
