Planning a wedding isn’t just about booking a florist, choosing a DJ, tastings, and gift registries. It’s all about us telling your unique love story. We get to know our couples on a personal level and typically end up as friends. Of course we love planning and designing weddings but none of that matters without you. That’s why during our initial consultation, we take time to find out how you and your fiancé met, how you or they proposed, what you love about each other, and how we can sprinkle that throughout your wedding day. We don’t try to sell you on our packages; we show you how your love story can be told through the five senses to ensure the most amazing guest experience.

We hired Kara as our wedding day coordinator (and then added on postponement services d/t COVID) and also hired Kara for design/planning for a pre-wedding event. Our pre-wedding event was a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony and although Kara has never been to one, she embraced it. She enthusiastically helped with rentals and other design touches. She nailed it!

Since day 1 (sometime in 2019!), she went above and beyond. She never rushed the calls and took time to learn about who you are and your vision. I did have a misunderstanding with a vendor and Kara advocated for me. We successfully reached a solution that worked for everyone. She went to bat for me and I'm so appreciative of that. She cares. On my wedding day, I noticed Kara threw in a few extra touches to help complete the design/look/feel. Thank you!

WOW! For those of you who think you don’t need a planner, YOU ARE WRONG! You NEED Kara! I thought for sure I could do it all! Then I met Kara and I am so happy I did! From our first zoom call to the day of, she was always available when I needed her! She made sure EVERYTHING was perfect for for our wedding. Kara was extremely organized and was on top of things! I was able to relax and enjoy the day! I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing planner! Thank you so much!!

Planning a wedding is stressful! Adding on COVID, travel restrictions, and our wedding being far away (we live in DC but our wedding was in my dad’s backyard in Naples due to COVID) made us realize we might need some help, but how do you choose the right person? We did some searches on google, theknot, etc and came across Kara and her positive reviews. We had nothing but positive experiences from the very first email! Wedding planners might seem like something you don’t need if you’re on a tight budget but trust us, Kara will take all the stress away from the process so that you can actually have FUN with the planning and more importantly, the actual event. Kara was professional, timely, helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and had a wonderful relationship with the vendors to make sure we got what we needed. She is also fun to be around and made every step exciting for us. She even let us throw some curve balls her way as late as the day before the wedding (we decided we NEEDED a keg after all our drinks were mysteriously gone after the rehearsal dinner and she said no problem!). If you’re considering hiring a planner, LOOK NO FURTHER! Hire Kara and her team and you will not regret it.

Overall we had a wonderful experience working with Kara! She was down to earth yet professional throughout the planning process. We needed her to help plan a destination wedding and could trust that she would help coordinate with vendors when we were not there physically. KC Weddings & Events was beyond amazing to work with! We only had a few weeks to plan an entire wedding on Marco Island while we live in Indiana. Their communication was fantastic. We were able to FaceTime, email, text and have phone calls with them through the entire planning processes. They have great recommendations for photographers, cake places and florists. We also loved the wedding decor they provided for the beach ceremony. The day of the wedding, they took care of setup, tear down and took charge of the music.

When planning a destination wedding, you have to put a lot of trust in your planners to make your vision come alive. Our wedding ended up being better than we could have ever dreamed of all thanks to KC Weddings & Events!

Kara went above and beyond my wildest dreams for our wedding! She truly took any stress that I had away with her eye for design and organization. I could not imagine how chaotic it would've been without her. I hands down recommend using KC Weddings & Events, 5 star quality. The thing that stood out to my husband and I was how personable Kara was and how much pride she takes in her work. Her friendly smile and confidence definitely made us feel we were in good hands. What was most important to us when hiring a wedding planner was organization, their vision aligning with ours and overall making our lives much easier and Kara did all of those things and more. You need Kara and her team! I hired Kara and Ashley to be my Day-Of coordinator and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. From our initial meetings, Kara and Ashley were extremely professional and helpful with the wedding planning process. Although I did a majority of the planning myself, they still happily lended me their knowledge and expertise, and I was grateful! Their planning portal was quite useful, and they even helped me when I was having technical difficulties. Fast forward to the month of my wedding, Kara and Ashley completely took over the planning process. They handled vendor communications, made sure timelines were finalized and that all vendors were up to speed, and organized my rehearsal. I basically just showed up wherever/whenever they told me to, and it was perfect! On the day of my wedding, I didn't have to lift a finger. I got to sit back and relax on my day, and let Ashley guide me from one event to the next. Ashley was completely in charge of making sure we were sticking to the timeline, and she ensured the whole day ran smoothly, which it did! We did run into a small hiccup of rain RIGHT when my ceremony was supposed to begin, but once we figured out a plan B, Ashley was right there redirecting our vendors and making sure my new ceremony space was set up beautifully and in a timely manner. The rain barely set us back, and it was incredible how efficient Ashley was! I am so glad I made the decision to hire Kara's team for my Day Of coordinator. They took all of the wedding day stress away, and allowed me to fully enjoy my day and be present in the moment. Do yourself a favor and hire their team!

KC Wedding & Events was the MOST important investment we made toward our daughter’s wedding. Kara was not only available all the time but she was a God sent as we did not realize the minor/ major details that slipped our minds at the last minute. She thought of things that would never have crossed our minds. With that being said, we avoided costly mistakes.

The most important thing we needed was to have someone create and keep all people involved to a specific schedule.
Kara accomplished that perfectly without any problems or at least we don’t know about any! Having Kara made planning non stressful and actually enjoyable. I highly recommend KC Weddings & Events for any event. You will not be disappointed. We know we are eternally grateful for all of the help we received during the entire process.
