KC Weddings & Events was beyond amazing to work with! We only had a few weeks to plan an entire wedding on Marco Island while we live in Indiana. Their communication was fantastic. We were able to FaceTime, email, text and have phone calls with them through the entire planning processes. They have great recommendations for photographers, cake places and florists. We also loved the wedding decor they provided for the beach ceremony. The day of the wedding, they took care of setup, tear down and took charge of the music.

Kara was amazing during the planning of my wedding. We had a beach wedding and I was from out of town, so given all of the obstacles she did an amazing job. She pulled out all the stops for my wedding of 45 people, just as if we were hosting a wedding of 200.

Where do I start with Kara! From before we even officially hired her, she and I clicked immediately. She is so incredibly attentive, sweet, talented and easy to get along with! The thought of even planning a wedding before I had her gave me panic attacks. Having Kara along the way helped us relax and made sure everything was set for our big day. Kara is the absolute best wedding planner you could ever hope for. She helped us not only plan our wedding, but our destination wedding when we were on the other side of the country. Our day was beyond perfect, it was everything we wished for and more. We truly believe without Kara it wouldn’t have been that way and definitely wouldn’t have gone as smoothly. Kara was the calm in our stressful storm of wedding planning, the minute she took over everything went perfectly! Not to mention everyone at our wedding loved her because of how amazing she was! She was our wedding planner but she also became our good friend along the way! We can’t recommend her enough, she truly is the best! 💗

Kara and Bryan of KC Wedding and Events were absolutely amazing! Our parents put us into contact with Bryan and from the beginning, they both put us at ease and made the wedding planning process a breeze. From the start we were stressed trying to plan the wedding from 1000 miles away, however Bryan and Kara took to our every need and were extremely considerate when we had a difficult time deciding on a venue. They contacted us often through out the process, keeping us up to date on everything including the budget as things progressed. I can't recommend Kara more highly! She helped make our dream Doctor Who inspired wedding a reality. She kept me organized while planning, provided helpful insight along the way, and even put in elbow grease when necessary including helping me paint a bunch of decor blue when the time came. I threw so many crazy ideas at her, and she ensured it all came together and just looked beautiful and nuanced all at the same time. Despite having her home hit by hurricane Irma, she continued to keep me on track as the big day approached, and considering she didn't have electricity for several weeks, I was incredibly impressed & appreciative. On the day of, she kept every thing moving like a well oiled machine, ensured all of the decor was placed to fulfill our vision, and even surprised us with several things I had written off as just not having time to figure out or even too expensive. I had told Kara early on that I wanted a light wall for behind the dessert table, but I ran out of time trying to figure out supplies and what was needed for the construction. I had accepted that decor touch just wasn't going to happen. She surprised us by having her hubby source all the materials and construct the light wall for us. It really fulfilled my vision for the dessert area and provided such a lovely twinkley accent to the room. It was absolutely perfect. We had also considered some absolutely Instagram worthy custom cookies as favors. They ended up being too much per person for our budget as favors, but as a personal gift to us she had the cookies made customized for my husband, myself, and our daughter. That way we still got to include the cookies in our photos and enjoy the treats for a few weeks after the wedding. It was just so thoughtful. She really ensured every little detail that we discussed made its way to reality on the actual day. Investing in Kara's services was one of the best decisions I made in all of the planning.

KC Weddings & Events got a 10/10 in my book. Back story, we had our wedding January 9, 2022 at the peak of omicron. So many things changed last minute. I’m talking guest count going down by 50 guests 2 weeks before the wedding. We lost a bridesmaid and a groomsmen the day before the wedding due to Covid. Had additional guest show up that had not RSVPed and so much more. Let me tell you, we could not have done it without these amazing wedding planners. We personally had Brian as our wedding planner. And he killed it. All our last minute changes were challenging but he absolutely took them head on. It was a huge piece of mind knowing he was there to help with it all. Our reception space turned out STUNNING, they took our vision to a whole new level. Every detail of the wedding day was taken care of. They absolutely exceeded all expectations and we were so happy that we hired them! Thank you guys for everything!

Working with Kara from our engagement in 2019 to our wedding this past weekend was phenomenal. It was everything we needed. I wanted to work with someone that was easy going and that I would connect with and that was Kara! She helped me in many aspects and pointed me in the right direction along the way and ensured me the wedding would be perfect and it was!
