The First Look

I absolutely LOVE First Looks!! My husband and other planner on the other hand is not a fan. He is much more traditional than I am and as the only thing he requested for our wedding day, I was happy to oblige. The most important thing is for you and your honey to discuss this prior to the wedding day and decide if it something you want to do. Your wedding planner, photographer, videographer, and florist all need to know if this is going down.

A First Look can be beautiful and wonderful. It gives you two a private moment alone before the craziness of the rest of the day ensues as well as a second first look at each other as walk down the aisle happens. It allows you time to join Cocktail Hour because you can get wedding party photos done before the ceremony.

Don’t worry if you both agree to not do a First Look. There are other options of spending a private moment together without seeing each other. You could hold hands around a corner or read each other love letters on opposite sides of a sofa blindfolded. You could do a First Look with your parents instead.

Either way, you want your First Look to be special for both of you and something you will remember for the rest of your life.
